In 2017 City Mouse released their debut album 'Get Right' and it was a breath of fresh air. Soulful melodic LA punk rock that didn't follow trends and was (to my ears at least) a good few steps ahead of the most popular and well regarded punk albums of the time.

7 years later and they're back with their second album 'So Far Out' on Brassneck Records (UK) and It's Alive Records (US). It's everything I could have hoped it would be and more.

City Mouse are one of those special bands that don't come along too often. A band with such an abundance of talent and emotional resonance that they demand your attention. Not in an aggressive way necessarily, but this isn't background music. When the needle hits the record, you're invested for the duration.

'So Far Out' comprises 12 songs delivered like only City Mouse can deliver them and every one is an absolute winner.
